Martin S. Etheridge

LCMHC/S, LPC/S, TF-CBT 

Martin S. Etheridge is a Licensed Professional Counselor, credentialed in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia, and nationally recognized as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). He is the Founder and CEO of MSE Health & Community Services, a mental health organization dedicated to delivering trauma-focused therapy and community-based care to children, adolescents, adults, and families—especially within underserved communities. 

With over a decade of clinical experience, Martin specializes in treating trauma, childhood behavioral disorders, and executive functioning difficulties, with a particular focus on emotional regulation and complex family systems. He integrates evidence-based modalities such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to promote healing, resilience, and emotional development. His therapeutic approach is rooted in culturally responsive care, emotional intelligence, and a strong commitment to family-centered support. 

A dedicated advocate for mental health equity, Martin leads MSE Health with a mission to expand access to quality, inclusive care. Beyond his clinical work, he is passionate about mentoring clinicians and elevating standards within community mental health systems. 

Celena Shivers

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Celena Shivers is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and the founder of Greater Alliance Behavioral Health Services (GABHS). With a compassionate and client-centered approach, Celena specializes in treating mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, trauma-related conditions, and co-occurring mental health concerns across the lifespan.  She brings over a decade of experience in mental health and leadership, having served in various clinical and administrative roles.

Celena is deeply committed to expanding access to high-quality mental health care, with a focus on integrative, culturally responsive, and community-based treatment. Through GABHS, she offers both in-person and telehealth services, medication management, psychotherapy, and evidence-based interventions tailored to each individual’s needs. 

Celena is currently pursuing both her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Family Nurse Practitioner certification, further enhancing her clinical expertise and expanding the scope of care she can provide.  In addition to her clinical work, she has a strong interest in health advocacy, holistic wellness, and empowering underserved communities.

Her work is guided by empathy, integrity, and a passion for helping others lead emotionally balanced and fulfilling lives.

Dana Gurley

Registered Nurse

Dana Gurley is a compassionate and skilled registered nurse with more than 20 years of experience across diverse areas of healthcare. Known for her composure and professionalism in high-pressure environments, Dana brings both clinical expertise and a steady presence to every patient interaction.

A natural leader and collaborative team member, she is committed to supporting her colleagues, coaching and mentoring healthcare professionals, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Her strong work ethic, adaptability, and exceptional interpersonal skills have made her a trusted member of every team she has served.

Dana is currently advancing her expertise at Herzing University, where she is completing her Master of Science in Nursing as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (MSN-PMHNP) and is on track to graduate in August 2025. She looks forward to combining her extensive nursing background with specialized mental health training to make a meaningful difference in the lives of her patients and community.

Dr. Joan DuBose McClurkin

MA, MAC, TF-CBT, LPCS, LCMHCS, LAC, AADC 

Joan DuBose McClurkin is a highly respected licensed therapist with over 20 years of experience in the fields of mental health, addiction, and trauma recovery. She is licensed to practice in both South Carolina and North Carolina. She holds clinical supervision credentials in both states, enabling her to mentor associate-level professional counselors and licensed clinical mental health counselors on their journey to full licensure.

Joan specializes in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and is a licensed addiction counselor, offering evidence-based, compassionate care to individuals navigating complex trauma, substance use disorders, and co-occurring mental health conditions. Her clinical expertise spans a wide range of populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, with a particular focus on those impacted by generational trauma, grief, and crisis.

Joan has worked in diverse settings, including public schools, acute psychiatric hospital settings, outpatient treatment facilities, and private practice. Her holistic and culturally responsive approach fosters a safe and affirming space for healing and growth.

Joan is also a doctoral candidate at Regent University, pursuing advanced study in Counseling and Psychological Studies with a concentration in Trauma and Crisis Counseling. Her academic research and clinical expertise uniquely position her to provide both therapeutic services and professional consultation with clarity, confidence, and care.

Stephanie Briscoe

LCMHCS, CEAP

Stephanie Briscoe, LCMHCS, NCC, CEAP is a licensed clinical supervisor, board-certified therapist, and speaker serving North and South Carolina. With over 15 years of experience, she blends faith-based principles with evidence-based therapies like CBT, CPT, and SFT to support individuals, couples, and groups.

Stephanie is the founder of the ARC Mentality™—a core framework that emphasizes Accountability, Relatability, and Consistency as keys to emotional and relational growth. She’s also a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP), Christian Life Coach, and trusted partner to corporate, educational, and nonprofit organizations through leadership development and wellness trainings.

Beyond the office, she’s a devoted wife of 26 years, mother of five young adults, classic film enthusiast, and lifelong supporter of track and field. Whether in therapy, on stage, or in community spaces, Stephanie is known for her wisdom, warmth, and unwavering commitment to seeing people grow whole and well, inside and out.

Regina Young

With more than two decades of experience in healthcare operations and Revenue Cycle Management, Practice Manager Regina Young brings exceptional expertise in streamlining billing processes, reducing claim denials, and maximizing financial efficiency. Her meticulous attention to detail, persistence in pursuing accurate claim resolution, and proficiency in Epic and other leading billing systems have made her a trusted leader in the field.

Her career includes leadership roles at some of New York City’s most renowned healthcare institutions, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, Weill Cornell Medical Center, and Cabrini Medical Center. Outside of her professional achievements, she is a published author of 338 Scriptures on Faith and enjoys reading, writing, genealogy, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Robert Castle

With more than 22 years of experience, Robert Castle is an accomplished Compliance Officer recognized for his expertise in regulatory compliance, risk management, and the promotion of ethical standards across multiple industries. Renowned for his strategic insight, analytical acumen, and integrity-driven leadership, he has successfully designed, implemented, and overseen comprehensive compliance programs that align with federal, state, and industry-specific regulations.

Throughout his career, Mr. Castle has worked closely with executive leadership, legal counsel, and operational teams to cultivate a culture of accountability and transparency. His professional competencies include policy development, internal investigations, regulatory reporting, audit management, and workforce training. Dedicated to advancing sustainable compliance strategies, he remains committed to upholding the highest ethical principles in today’s dynamic and complex regulatory landscape.

Etheridge, a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience, to provide accessible, culturally responsive mental health care for underserved communities in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia. Rooted in a commitment to healing, equity, and resilience, we serve children, adolescents, and families with a trauma-informed, client-centered approach that restores hope, builds trust, and strengthens families.

A CARF-accredited organization, we partner with schools, community groups, and public agencies to meet people where they are — in their neighborhoods and their lives. Our licensed professionals offer school-based counseling, outpatient therapy, clinical assessments, and wraparound services designed to promote healing and lasting transformation.
